Louis A Riel, a Canadian politician and founder of Manitoba, Canada. He led two rebellions, the Red River Rebellion and the North-West Rebellion, against the Canadian government.
The North-west Rebellion ended and Louis Riel was charged with high treason which led to his arrest, trial, and execution.
