Behind the statue is a beautiful architectural building, with the Corinthian style columns to emphasize the elegant old world charm of this structure. The Corinthian style is very ornate, with it's fluted column and an elaborately decorated leaves and scrolls at it's cap.

To the left of the statue is glass front door trimmed in bronze to the bank and to the right is a bright purple flowered bush.

This building is the Bank of Montreal is Canada's oldest bank, established in 1817 and is 4th largest bank in deposits. This bank is located in the Winnipeg Square mall.
