A 63km Expert backpacking trail follows along the shoreline of Lake Superior Provincial Park from Sinclair Cove in the south to just passed Cape Gargantua in the north. This photo captures beautiful Sinclair Cove, it's crystalline smooth water, and driftwood along the shore with a tiny stream flowing into the lake. A rugged rocky hillside is seen rising from the shore on the left, and a cloudy sky reflects upon the perfectly calm lake. The most challenging and demanding trail in Lake Superior Provincial Park, the Coastal Trail takes you along the high cliffs and rocky beaches of Lake Superior. Sinclair Cove is one of the access points to this trail which ascends and descends over cliffs, rocky outcrops, beaches, boulders and driftwood.
