This stock photo shows the partially frozen Lower Falls of the Johnston Creek during winter surrounded by ice and snow formations, Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park, Canadian Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Canada. Banff National Park forms part of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the winter, Johnston Creek becomes a mass of ice but once the weather warms up, the melt starts to happen at a fairly rapid pace. Winter is an amazing time of year throughout Johnston Canyon when all the ice glistens in the sunlight.
