This passenger ferry, the Osprey 2000 is on Kootenay Lake. A white structure holds two chains that run near the edge of the ferry’s floor.

The floor of the passenger ferry’s worn red paint is flaking. A bright orange lifebuoy, a round life saving device hangs on the white building.

Under the lifebuoy are two black metal poles on a black metal platform. Another with one pole on a platform sits on near by on the other side of the white structure.

A beautiful view is enjoyed from the deck looking out on the dark blue waters of Kottenay Lake with the mountains in the background. Large puffy white clouds hang low over the mountain range.
