This stock photo shows the graves and headstones in a cemetery at the Hessenpark (Open Air Museum), Neu-Anspach, Hessen, Germany, Europe.
Hessenpark’s burial landmark shows many headstones for the graves of the past residents. Each headstone is unique to its grave in the museum’s cemetery.
Some have crosses, while others have a stone plaque or tablet. The crosses are simple and crude as others are more ornate in design.
Some of the plaques and crosses stand on stone platforms. The grass of the graveyard is overgrown and ivy grows on the stone wall that surrounds the grave sites.
The stone markers are stained from years of weather and neglect. A simple white cross stands in front with the name of Elizabeth Funt.
