This stock photo shows Canadian Goose and its goslings, Branta canadensis, at the Marsh Boardwalk in Point Pelee National Park, Leamington, Ontario, Canada.
The Canadian goose, with its distinctive markings, has a black head and neck with the white chinstrap. The chest feathers are a lighter brown, with the wing feathers being a darker brown with thin white stripes. The wing tip feathers are black. Their feet are black and webbed.
The goslings are a light brown almost furry looking and have dark markings around their face.
The parent goose looks on as the two goslings relax on the grass at the lake’s shoreline and enjoy the sun. The third gosling waddles towards his parent.
Brown reeds lay in the lake by the shoreline. The water is moving slightly with the reflection of the green trees. A section of boardwalk is in the background to the left.
